Salatoma is a mixture of raw salami (TOMA IN SHAPE, SALAME IN TASTE), covered with pepper shells, which, undergoing some kind of processing, give a special crunchy note. The spices and ingredients go into blending together, allowing the Salatoma to rest for several days before being worked constantly with the pepper shells, and then moving on to the various stages namely drying, curing and packaging.
