Sacco System is a business network and biotech center for food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical innovation, formed by Caglificio Clerici, Sacco, Centro Sperimentale del Latte and Kemikalia. An international organization that places human relations at its core, maintaining the original family spirit. Employees, suppliers and customers are part of a big family.

Caglificio Clerici has been the leading Italian company in the production of rennet and coagulants since 1872.

Sacco researches, develops and produces lactic cultures for the food sector.

Centro Sperimentale del Latte is focused on the production of probiotics in the food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical sectors.

Kemikalia, based in Sweden, sells vitamins and enzymes in Northern European countries.

The INgredients project was born from the desire to make the hidden world of ingredients accessible to everyone. We explain how rennet, lactic acid bacteria and probiotics are essential ingredients of the most popular foods and drinks, but also of their beneficial action on the health of humans, animals and the environment.

For 150 years, we have been informing, divulging and making known the microscopic world of Sacco System ingredients to a large audience, to raise awareness and promote good nutrition and wellbeing.
