The Agro-Food Dairy Industry Serra was founded in 1915 in Nurri, in the province of Nuoro, by Giuseppe Serra. It began with the trade of Sardinian pecorino and pecorino romano cheeses, initially within Sardinia and then throughout Italy. In the 1940s, the company started transforming milk collected from local farmers into high-quality pecorino products. With increasing demand, the company designed a new, modern, and functional facility while maintaining high-quality standards.

The company ensures the authenticity of milk produced by Sardinian farmers, with rigorous control of the processing stages by qualified personnel. Today, with 3,500 square meters of covered space, 25 employees, and strict production controls, the company meets the needs of large-scale distribution and Italian and international retailers.
