The Arrigoni Battista S.p.A dairy was founded in Pagazzano (BG) in 1914; characterized by an integrated supply chain based on tradition and innovation, protection of the land and the final product, and constant R&D activity, today it is in the hands of the fourth generation, represented by President Marco Arrigoni, and has more than 100 employees. A leader in the Italian and foreign dairy market, exporting to 36 countries. It produces PDO recipes – Gorgonzola, Taleggio and Quartirolo – and unique recipes such as Berghem Blu; it garners international successes including 6 Medals at the World Cheese Awards 2022 and 7 medals at the International Cheese Dairy Awards 2023, as well as the recognition of its own Gorgonzola PDO Dolce to be served by the spoonful as “Best Italian Soft Cheese” at the International Cheese Awards 2019 in Nantwich (UK).
