Bufalinda, an Argentine group established in 1977, initially focused on meat production. However, in 2004, it underwent a transformation, converting its operations into a buffalo farm dedicated to the production of buffalo milk. By 2007, Bufalinda had asserted itself as a national leader in buffalo dairy, introducing a diverse range of products including mozzarella, ricotta, and yogurt. In 2017, the company marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art export-oriented facility. Subsequently, in 2018, it expanded its footprint into the United States with Bufalinda USA and introduced new product lines.
