Gelmini

The history of the Gelmini company began in the late 1800s, and even today, with the fourth generation, the Gelmini family ensures professionalism and tradition in the production of Gorgonzola DOP cheese. The plant, consisting of the production area, maturing and packaging department is located in the center of the D.O.P. cheese’s area of origin, in Besate, in the province of Milan. Gelmini gorgonzola, which has always been recognized as a quality product, achieves high quality standards thanks to a still artisanal processing, where the cheesemaker’s manual skill is still a very important element, supported by advanced dairy technology and special care to hygienic and sanitary aspects.
