Pedranzini Caseificio di Bormio is the Pedranzini family’s new dairy, located at the foot of the Stelvio Pass, nestled in the beautiful landscape of Alta Valtellina.
The company conducts its business throughout the year by processing milk from farms located in the Upper Valley municipalities.
The Dairy is arranged on 3 floors: on the second floor, milk collection and refrigerated storage take place. On the second floor, the production of different types of cheeses (Dairy, Magro, Scimudin, Formaggella..), drinking milk, yogurt and butter takes place. The basement floor is largely occupied by the curing cells, there we also find, brine and rooms used for packaging and shipping.
What characterizes and distinguishes this dairy is the use of raw milk for almost all processing; the perfect combination of tradition and innovation allows our conferring farmers to provide high quality milk from which cheeses and dairy products with distinct organoleptic characteristics are obtained.
